This is KEG's M8 titanium ceramic hex head nozzle insert, a replaceable threaded insert for KEG nozzles with M8 orifices. KEG rates titanium ceramic as its best performing insert material for jet pattern. KEG uses replaceable inserts so a nozzle can be matched to the flow rate and pressure the job needs.

KEG lists this insert as an accessory for the Equalizer nozzle and groups M8 inserts with inserts for 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" nozzles, specialty nozzles, floor cleaners and chain cutters. The same list states that specialty nozzles and chain cutters use ceramic inserts only.
