The Leach 2R III rear loader is a heavy duty refuse body designed to handle residential, commercial, and demolition collection. Proven in demanding applications, it delivers high compaction performance and long term durability for fleets that require versatility and reliability.

A telescopic ejector cylinder is mounted at an upward angle to stay clear of debris while directing compaction forces forward into the body structure. The 2R III also features the thickest standard body floor in the industry, with a reinforced trough design that improves structural integrity and weight distribution.

With the largest hopper sweep available and powerful hydraulic cylinders, operators can load more material per cycle, reduce packer cycles, and achieve higher payload efficiency. Chromium carbide wear components in the slide shoe system provide extended service life and simplified maintenance.
